  • 1 Reset
    1.1 For smart phone , how can make factory data reset?

    Please note that user data format will erase all your personal information and downloaded apps (not include SD card files and current system software).There are 2 methods to make factory data reset on your phone:
    Method 1: Under power on mode:
    Please go to menu->“Settings” -->“Backup and reset” ->“Factory data reset”-> “Reset phone” -> You will be request to draw your unlock pattern to confirm a factory data reset if you have set up lock pattern before--> “Erase everything”;

    Method 2: Under power off mode:
    ONE TOUCH 890/890D:
    Turn off the handset, then press the volume up key and the End key at the same time for a few seconds until you see the reset interface.

    ONE TOUCH 903/903D/918/918D/922/991/991D:
    Turn off the handset, press the volume up key and the Power key at the same time for a few seconds until you see the reset interface, then press “Home” key ? Select “wipe data/factory reset” via volume key ? Press “Menu” key to confirm ? Select “Yes –delete all user data” ? Press “Menu” key to confirm again ? Please select “reboot system now” and press “Menu” to confirm to reboot your phone.

    ONE TOUCH 906:
    Turn off the handset, press the volume up key, call key and the Power key at the same time for a few seconds until you see the reset interface.

    ONE TOUCH 908/909/910/990/995:
    Turn off the handset, press the volume up key and the Power key at the same time for a few seconds until you see the reset interface.

    ONE TOUCH 909B:
    Turn off the handset, press the “#” key and the Power key at the same time for a few seconds until you see the reset interface.

    ONE TOUCH 916/916D:
    Turn off the handset, press # key and the Power key at the same time for a few seconds until you see the reset interface, then press “Home” key -> Select “wipe data/factory reset” via volume key -> Press “menu” key to confirm -> Select “Yes –delete all user data” -> Press “menu” key to confirm again -> Please select “reboot system now” and press “menu” to confirm to reboot your phone.

    ONE TOUCH 960C:
    Turn off the handset, press the volume up key and the Power

    1.2 For Feature phone , how can make factory data reset?

    If your phone is with keyboard design, please long press “#” key and “power on key” at the same time in power off mode, then you will be asked “All data will be lost, continue?” After you select “Yes,” the sequence will be entered with reminder “Formatting flash, please wait.” The phone will auto switch on when reset finishes. Please do not manipulate the phone or remove the battery during this process.

    If your phone is with touch screen design, please make factory data reset by long pressing “upper side key” and “power on key” at the same time in power off mode.

    Please note that after phone reset all personal data added by the user will be lost (except SIM card), which includes: pictures, audio, video, downloaded applications and games, products directory data and WAP bookmark etc.

    2 Upgrade
    2.1 For smart phone, how can I upgrade my phone software?

    Please upgrade your phone with ONE TOUCH upgrade which can be downloaded from the following website: http://www.alcatelonetouch.com/global-en/support/download.html 
    You can also upgrade it with FOTA: Please press “Menu” key at home screen -> “Settings”-> “About phone”-> “System updates”-> “Check for updates” -> “Download”, then the phone will download software package to your SD cardà “Install” the package, then the phone will auto restart.
    Please note that 3G or Wi-Fi is needed when you use FOTA. But Wi-Fi is preferred.

     

     

    2.2 For Feature phone, how can I upgrade my phone software?

    3 Email
    3.1 Configure Outlook.com Account

    For this we have two options, such as Exchange account or POP3.

    If the Mail application on our Android device supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync accounts set up the account can Outlook.com from that option to receive push notifications. So we must put this into the Exchange option:

    Outlook.com Setup (Exchange)

    Domain \ user name: We introduce our name usuario@outlook.com

    Password: password introduce

    Server: m.hotmail.com

    Use secure connection (SSL): Enabled

    Accept all SSL certificates: Off

     

     

    Once we entered the data and to set up sync, choosing which check for new mail automatically (push notifications), synchronization of calendar and contacts Outlook account with our device, etc ...

    If your device does not have support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync accounts set up our own touch us Outlook.com as POP3. So we must put our username, password and give next or manual configuration, select POP3 and enter these following data:

    Outlook.com Settings (POP3)

    Username: We introduce our name usuario@outlook.com

    Password: password introduce

    POP3 Server: pop3.live.com

    Port: 995

    Security Type: SSL / TLS (Accept all certif.) Or SSL (Accept all certif.)

    SMTP Server: smtp.live.com

    Port: 587

    Security Type: None

    Request log: Off

     

     

    If you want to be removed from the server we deleted emails from the Android application we have to tell in the "Delete email from server" and actually being deleted we have to open the web and go Outlook.com Settings> Manage your Account> POP and deleting downloaded messages and select "Do what you indicate the other program: if it indicates that messages are removed, remove them."

     


     

     

    After entering this data only have to finish setting up the account by adjusting the timing, notifications and how often we want to check for new mail. With POP3 option will not have real-time notifications.

     

    3.2 Setup personal Email on Smartphone

    1.-To setup your personal email; access the Email application.
     
    2.-Select Others.
     
    3.-Type your full email address and password; your phone should automatically create settings.
     
    4.-If manually entering settings select POP3 or IMAP4 based off your email providers settings; you will then be promted to enter server settings.
     
    5.-Type a name for your account and your name (this name will be displayed for outgoing email).
