  • Q1 What is a phone code?

    Phone code is used to protect your phone. Once you activate this code, every time you turn on the cell phone, it will ask you to input it.
    Alcatel mobile phone’s default phone code is 1234, which can be changed by end user.

  • Q2 What is a PIN code?

    The PIN (Personal Identification Number) code is a protection for the SIM card. Once you active this code, every time you turn on the cell phone, you have to enter the PIN code.
    Your phone’s default PIN code is provided by your service provider. You can change the PIN code by yourself.

  • Q3 What is a PIN2 code?

    PIN2 code acts as a second layer of protection for certain features of your phone. It functions in the same way as the PIN code.
    Your phone’s default PIN2 code is provided by your service provider. You can change PIN2 code by yourself.

  • Q4 What is a PUK code?

    PUK (Personal Unblock Key) code is used to unblock your cell phone in case you enter the wrong PIN code three times. It is an eight digit code provided by your service provider, which can not be changed.
    If you enter the incorrect PUK code over certain times, you need to contact your service provider to change your SIM card.

  • Q5 What is a PUK2 code?

    PUK2 code is requested when you enter the incorrect PIN2 code over several times. PUK2 code is provided by your service provider which can not be changed.
    If you enter the incorrect PUK2 code over certain times, you need to contact your service provider to change your SIM card.

  • Q6 What is NCK / NUK Code?

    NCK (Network Restriction Code) is similar as NUK (Network Unlock Key). NCK and NUK have another name?Network Key, which comes from your service provider. It usually appears when you want to change the service provider. Please do not try to input it if you don’t know the right Network Key. Please contact your service provider for help. 

  • Q7 What is Reset Key?

    Network Key is from your service provider. It appears when you want to use SIM card from another service provider. If you don’t know the right Network Key, please contact your service provider.
    For some service providers, if you have input wrong Network Key above certain times, your phone will be SIM locked and your phone screen will show ‘SIM card locked! Please contact operator! Reset key?’. In this case, even the original operator’s SIM card can not be used. Please contact your service provider for help.
